原文:How To Uncensor (Almost) Any Unity Game 作者:Well-Known Member
Welcome lads, and ladies (I know you're out there) to my own personal guide to taking blocks off of your fap material!
Before we begin, take a note that if you are looking to get into uncensoring games, there will be some software requirements.
I can also assume you are fairly familiar and comfortable with a computer.
This does not mean you need to be a tech wizard, but I'm not going to explain how to CTRL+C and CTRL+V.
Long story short, I've been on a crusade to uncensor some awesome games.
I've spent hours lurking around on threads gathering this information. After I learned a few methods, I thought it would be a great idea to make a public guide for anyone to see. I've searched around and never found a guide anything like this one, so hopefully it gets some use.
Most of the best games in the business all share one common problem... they are Japanese.
This leads to two separate issues:
1: 99% of all games are censored.
- Sometimes everything is fully detailed, but still covered.
- Sometimes nothing is detailed, and some god like community member will need to create new textures.
(Some extreme cases, new meshes from scratch.)
2: 99% of all games do not support translations.
- Very rarely you will find translations built into the game.
- More than likely, you will have to deal with being clueless.
- Sometimes you can find a thread floating around where you can find translation support.

Bonus material for the guide!
- Editing the registry files (specific games)
How do I know if my game can be uncensored?
First is recognizing the engine's file structure. Unity game folders normally contain a game.exe, a game_data folder, UnityPlayer.dll, and some variations of folder content. Games that are not made with Unity will not be addressed in this post, but are welcomed for discussion in the thread below.
Next is determining if the assets can be easily modified using the tools found here. Inside the game_data folder, you will see a list of folders and files. You will usually find Managed, Mono, globalgamemanagers.assets, level files, resources.assets, sharedassets#.assets...
If you do not see this file structure, it's likely archived in a different way to protect the assets. In this case, you're on your own. I have seen Unity based games which used a different file structure, and cannot be modified without the same software the developers used.
How do I know if my game should be uncensored?
I've included this topic after seeing an influx of comment requests for games which are simply not worth uncensoring. Usually because it's a 2D game with baked textures. A perfect example can be seen on post #218 and #254.
First rule is content. It comes down to quality and quantity. If the game has one sex scene with lousy animations, it's probably not worth your time.
Pixel games, probably not.
Full blown open world 3D RPG with thousands of characters and mountains of sex scenes? Someone has probably already beaten you to uncensoring, just look around some threads...
A 3D game which has just released and has several hours worth of gameplay is what you really should be interested in.
Second rule is always game type. Unity 3D architecture being our primary focus. I'd say 75% of all Unity 2D games cannot be (easily) uncensored. If you are here to uncensor a 2D game, please be prepared for the work involved with the task. If it's not a shader, it's all in the textures.
Third rule is the artwork, specifically the art found under the censor. Sometimes it's just better to let imagination take over, rather than watching two flat surfaces smack together.
